Decalog ILS, which has been available on decalog.net since October 2015, is the culmination of two generations of software packages:
- Paprika and Carthame, client/server software
Paprika is the original Decalog product. It is user-friendly and ergonomic, and is perfectly adapted to the needs of medium-sized libraries. Carthame is more suited to the needs of large municipalities and groups of local authorities.
- e-Paprika and e-Carthame, full web platforms
e-Paprika and e-Carthame, the two online service platforms accessible from a simple browser, are more recent arrivals. These ILSs are SaaS-based and cloud-hosted. All these products have merged to form the new Decalog ILS. Decalog ILS has also benefited from the functional qualities of the different products that have joined the family of Decalog products.
